The Muslim Legal Support Centre is a Black-owned non-profit organization, based out of Toronto Ontario Canada, that defends the rights of Muslims in Ontario. The organization is dedicated to providing culturally informed, multilingual, and free legal services to Muslims who have encountered barriers in Ontario’s legal system. Their mission is to address the harms Muslims experience from Islamophobia and discrimination, poverty, advocacy against injustices related to Muslim and perceived Muslim identity, equipping Muslims with a deeper understanding of their legal rights, and advance systemic change through partnerships with community organizations.
