The Progressive Centre is an educational support facility that provides academic assistance for students in grades K to 12. We service all subject areas, including math, English, French and the sciences. Our in-home tutoring aims to meet the learner, who wants to learn in the convieience of their home environment. Our tutors range from university students, graduates and certified teachers.
The Progressive Centre is owned and operated by Tara Johnson who has more than a decade of experience as an educator. Ms. Johnson is certified in TESL, special education and is qualified to teach at three academic levels. She has taught in both private and public education sectors. Ms. Johnson is committed to empowering students to attain their fullest potential.
The Progressive Centre was developed out of Ms. Johnson’s passion for helping students to attain success and her strong beliefs in Progressive Education.
